WCF Welcomes Grace Humsi as Executive Director

The Wichita Cancer Foundation (WCF) Board of Directors is pleased to announce the addition of new Executive Director, Grace Humsi.  With a professional background in event planning and administration management, Grace brings over 10 years of successful experience to the foundation.  She specializes in program development, event coordination, and community outreach, just to name a few.

Grace graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Integrated Marketing, and a minor in Psychology. She grew up working in her family-owned restaurant and began managing it at a young age. Most recently, Grace served as the Youth Director at St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral for seven years, providing leadership and management for the cathedral’s youth. She was responsible for the coordination of activities and events, and assisted with day to day administrative duties for a cathedral of over 400 families. Grace assisted the cathedral in several successful campaigns, including their Centennial Celebration.

Born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, Grace is excited to begin nonprofit work with WCF in her local community. She is married to Danny Humsi and together they enjoy traveling and exploring new cities.  Her passion for serving others is evident in everything she has done and her dedication to growing WCF is her primary goal, which involves her desire to ultimately to see as many cancer patients as possible get the health insurance they need.
