Wichita Cancer Foundation is partnering with Senior Services of Wichita (SSOW) for Picklepalooza 2025! This event, presented by INTRUST Bank, will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Chicken N’ Pickle. Like WCF, SSOW is a private nonprofit charitable organization. “Coming together to host one event helps preserve manpower, resources, and helps both agencies raise awareness and funding from new supporters,” says Chris Heiman, SSOW Development Director.

The partnership developed when the WCF Executive Director, Wyatt Sheeder, joined the Senior Services Board of Directors in the fall of 2024.  Sheeder says “Both organizations have hosted successful pickleball tournaments thanks to the dedication of our incredible committees and loyal sponsors. Joining forces for 2025 is a natural next step as we aim to expand awareness of our missions and make an even more significant impact in our community.”

Picklepalooza will feature Pickleball tournaments for all skill levels (advanced, intermediate, and beginner), a kids and beginner Pickleball Klinic, a Cornhole tournament, prizes, and an amazing raffle. All sponsors, players and spectators receive lunch, 2 complementary drink tickets (alcoholic or nonalcoholic), and admission into the After Party from 4 PM – 6 PM. The planning committee is excited for the event and looks forward to meeting new participants and sponsors.
