The Bob Struble Golf Classic at Riverfest was hosted by Wichita Festivals on Monday, June 5th, at Terradyne Country Club. The tournament originated in 2006 in memory of Bob Struble, a long-time Riverfest volunteer and former Wichita Festivals board chairman, who passed away from cancer in 2005. Bob’s memory continues to have an impact on the community, as the Wichita Cancer Foundation was chosen to be the benefitting organization from this tournament. WCF received the proceeds from the advantages available to purchase. Participants of the tournament were able to enjoy a day of golf, honor Bob’s life, and learn more about the Wichita Cancer Foundation.
