This past August, the Wichita Cancer Foundation hosted its Fourth Annual Pickleball Tournament benefitting local cancer patients. The tournament was played at Chicken N Pickle and marked the Foundation’s first year also hosting a cornhole tournament during the event. The Foundation witnessed a great turnout, with 25 teams registered in the recreational and competitive pickleball brackets and 17 teams participating in the cornhole competition.

Additionally, 20 kids participated in the Kids Klinic, facilitated by volunteers and Chicken N Pickle staff. All participants enjoyed brunch provided by Chicken N Pickle and were given the opportunity to bid on various silent auction items. In total, the funds raised will be able to assist seven Kansas cancer patients with six months of insurance premium payment assistance.
