Annual Cancer Awareness Night to Benefit Local Cancer Organizations
The annual Cancer Awareness Night, hosted by the Wichita Thunder Hockey Team, was held on January 12th at Intrust Bank Arena to benefit local cancer organizations, one of which included the Wichita Cancer Foundation. The goal of this charity event each year is to have fun while honoring cancer survivors throughout the night, all while gathering donations to benefit cancer research and treatment in order to put an end to this disease. WCF is so appreciative to have been chosen as one of the cancer organization recipients and is pleased to accept the donation on behalf of all the Sedgwick County patients and families we are serving.
