Annual Golf Tournament To Benefit Cancer Organizations
The 2017 Bob Struble Memorial Golf Tournament, presented by Security 1st Title, was held to benefit Wichita Festivals, Inc., The Hope Funds for Cancer Research and the Wichita Cancer Foundation. The annual charity benefit event, held in memory of a longtime Wichita Festivals volunteer who passed away from cancer in 2005, occured on Friday, Sept. 8 at the Crestview Country Club’s North Course. Bob Struble served for many years as a Wagonmaster and Riverfest volunteer. He was on the Wichita Festivals Board of Directors and chaired the board in 1995-1996. The goal of this charity event each year is to have fun while honoring the memory of this beloved volunteer, all while gathering donations to benefit cancer research and treatment. WCF is so appreciative to have been chosen as one of the cancer organization recipients! The WCF hopes to continue to grow in partnership with this event.
